New and reconditioned stairlift available from €1,699

Sales Advice:
  • Never purchase a stairlift from a company that attempts to make you buy that day
  • When obtaining quotes, ensure that they are 'like-for-like' quotes (same model/age/features/options etc.)
  • When buying reconditioned equipment, ensure that the company are approved suppliers - they may not be able to supply spare parts
  • Understand the warranty offered (e.g. does '24-hour callout' mean call out attendance 24 hours a day, or within 24 hours?)
  • Check the price!
    • New stairlifts start from as low as €2,700 - including installation
    • Reconditioned stairlifts can be installed for as little as €1,600

Frequently asked questions:
Q:
Are you anything to do with Dolphin Bathrooms?
A:
No, we are a totally independent group of companies specialising in stairlifts and equipment for the less able.

Q:
Do stairlifts fit to the walls or the stairs?
A:
All currently manufactured stairlifts fit to the tread of the stairs, except one or two wheelchair stair lifts (mainly for public buildings).

Q:
What happens if there is a power cut?
A:
The lift will stop, unless you have a battery powered lift, which we provide.

Q:
How do I charge the batteries, if I buy a battery powered lift?
A:
Some manufacturers have a constant charge, others automatically recharge when the lift is at the top or bottom of the stairs.

Q:
Are there any cheaper alternatives?
A:
We can supply a reconditioned chair and motor and have a new track made to measure. In some cases a folding platform may be used to bridge a step or two at the top. Whilst stairlift pricing is important it is vital that you choose a stairlift that is suitable for your needs.

Q:
Do I have to pay for a quotation?
A:
No. Most suppliers will provide free quotations. However, beware of hard sales techniques, special "one off" offers etc. They are not always what they seem.
